Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from conceptual development through construction documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering consultants to ensure technical integration.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a culture of professional excellence and innovation.
- Represent the firm in client presentations, public hearings, and contractor site meetings.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and sustainability standards.
- Direct the production of high-quality Revit models and detailed drawing packages.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a fast-paced professional architecture studio.
- Licensed Architect in the State of Illinois (or reciprocal eligibility).
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale commercial or multi-family project experience.
- In-depth knowledge of IBC, ADA requirements, and sustainable design certification (LEED or WELL).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multifaceted client relationships.
