Responsibilities
- Drive the full design lifecycle from conceptualization and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of design systems.
- Conduct deep-dive user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency across all product platforms.
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a culture of creative excellence and constructive feedback.
- Iterate on existing features based on performance analytics and direct user feedback.
- Present design strategies and concepts to stakeholders, clearly articulating the business value of design decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related field within a tech-forward environment.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing complex problem-solving and high-quality visual execution.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Protopie or Framer.
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS) to facilitate engineering hand-off.
- Proven ability to communicate design rationale effectively to non-design stakeholders.
- Experience building and scaling design systems for multi-platform products.
- A degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
