Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes from concept to implementation using Figma, Adobe CC, and prototyping tools
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to prioritize features and ensure technical feasibility
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and design critiques
- Present design solutions to stakeholders with compelling storytelling and documentation
- Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional product design experience with shipped consumer-facing products
- Expertise in design systems, interaction design, and visual hierarchy principles
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and user-centered design
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
