Are you a visionary designer ready to shape the future of digital experiences? Lumina Creative Studio is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our award-winning team in the heart of NYC. In this role, you will lead end-to-end design processes for high-impact products, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business problems into elegant, user-centric interfaces.
You will be instrumental in defining our design language, mentoring junior designers, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the SaaS and mobile landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire product design lifecycle from conceptualization to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses and iterate based on data.
- Design intuitive user flows and complex interfaces for responsive web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Mentor mid-level and junior designers through constructive design reviews and feedback sessions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or interaction design.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing complex product design work, design systems, and systematic thinking.
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Protopie or Framer.
- Solid understanding of modern front-end capabilities and limitations (HTML/CSS/React basics).
- Proven ability to translate business requirements and user needs into beautiful, functional designs.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to evangelize design culture within the organization.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
