Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market research and analyze trends to develop sourcing strategies that align with company goals.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of complex contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities and optimize inventory levels.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to stakeholders.
- Certification: CPSM, CPM, or CPIM certification is highly preferred.
