Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities across North American operations
- Negotiate complex contracts with vendors to ensure optimal pricing and favorable terms
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews
- Implement and maintain procurement compliance protocols aligned with ISO 14001 standards
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times
- Lead cross-functional procurement projects for new product launches
- Maintain accurate procurement records using SAP ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive procurement experience in manufacturing or distribution
- CIPS or CPSM certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record of achieving 10%+ annual cost reduction targets
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and supplier evaluation
- Excellent negotiation skills with contract law knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines
