Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities across North America
- Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance evaluations
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business objectives
- Implement and maintain procurement compliance policies
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for procurement data management
- Lead supplier diversity initiatives and ethical sourcing programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive procurement/sourcing experience
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and procurement software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data
- Experience managing multi-million dollar procurement budgets
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
