Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying market trends to final contract execution and supplier onboarding.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and ensure supply chain resilience.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with existing and prospective vendors.
- Manage a portfolio of key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Liaise cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Oversee the procurement budget, forecasting needs, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDEdwards).
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly desirable.
