Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across multiple categories with 15-20% annual cost-saving targets
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle from RFQ to contract negotiation and supplier onboarding
- Analyze market trends and conduct supplier risk assessments to ensure resilient supply chains
- Leverage data analytics to optimize procurement processes and implement ERP system improvements
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, operations, and finance teams
- Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 90001 procurement standards
- Mentor junior procurement staff and develop departmental KPIs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of procurement experience with 3+ years in strategic sourcing roles
- CIPS or CPSM certification strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in SAP Ariba and advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated success in international vendor negotiations and contract management
- Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and market research
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia advantageous
- Proven track record of implementing sustainable procurement practices
