Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to achieve cost-savings targets.
- Manage end-to-end contract negotiations with global suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Analyze market trends and supply base performance to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement goals with operational needs.
- Oversee vendor performance evaluations and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to build a high-performing department culture.
- Ensure full compliance with internal audit requirements and industry procurement standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and complex vendor relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and spend analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 15% to global supplier sites.
