Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and mitigate supply chain risk.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and tier-one global suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast procurement requirements and budget impacts.
- Implement advanced procurement software and automated tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee supplier performance metrics and lead quarterly business reviews to ensure consistent quality.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal procurement governance policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar ERP/Procurement platforms.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics and international trade compliance.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, or data visualization software.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
