Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and global logistics standards.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers to optimize pricing, service levels, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Manage the full end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align purchasing activities with production timelines and inventory needs.
- Evaluate and onboard new strategic vendors to drive innovation and support long-term scalability.
- Oversee supplier performance monitoring, conducting periodic audits and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract law, vendor management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of managing high-value procurement projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required by project demands.
