Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Lead complex contract negotiations to ensure optimal pricing, delivery terms, and service levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze market trends and data to forecast procurement requirements and optimize inventory levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement activities with corporate financial goals.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through robust KPI tracking and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA or CPSM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level negotiation skills with a proven track record of significant cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of legal principles related to supply chain contracts and compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills to influence executive stakeholders.
- Experience navigating international trade regulations and global logistics challenges.
