Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for critical categories including raw materials, IT services, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional sourcing projects with stakeholders in Engineering, Operations, and Finance
- Manage and negotiate complex contracts with international suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and risk mitigation
- Implement and optimize procurement processes using SAP Ariba and other digital procurement tools
- Conduct market analysis and supplier performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement
- Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and sustainability standards
- Oversee procurement budget management and financial reporting
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to build team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CIPS certification preferred
- Minimum 8 years of procurement experience with at least 3 years in managerial roles
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle) and data analytics tools
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and supply chain risk management
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu considered advantageous
- Track record of achieving measurable cost savings and process improvements
