Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resiliency.
- Lead contract negotiations for high-value spend categories, ensuring favorable terms, quality, and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including vetting, onboarding, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline requisition-to-pay workflows.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast material costs and influence business decision-making.
- Oversee departmental budget and track key procurement KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and promote a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; Master’s/MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a complex corporate environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar spend categories and delivering significant cost savings.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong certification profile (CPSM, CSCP, or PMP) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
- Deep understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and vendor management best practices.
