Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier-1 global vendors to ensure favorable terms and service level agreements.
- Perform deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends and alternative supply sources.
- Collaborate with finance and operations departments to streamline purchase-to-pay processes.
- Manage supplier performance scorecards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with internal procurement policies and international regulatory standards.
- Mentor a team of procurement specialists to enhance operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement or tactical purchasing.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement automation tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) highly regarded.
