Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to optimize spend.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key global suppliers.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process for high-value services and products.
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
- Mentor junior procurement analysts to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or direct procurement.
- Proven track record of managing high-value, multi-million dollar procurement portfolios.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and e-Sourcing platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
