Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to achieve cost reduction and value-add goals.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFx development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key global suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with broader organizational objectives.
- Monitor vendor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate governance, legal requirements, and ESG standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPM certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a global manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-spend categories and complex negotiations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-Procurement platforms.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategy.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring junior procurement staff.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
