Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to achieve cost-reduction targets.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Cultivate strong, cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement goals with business needs.
- Implement data-driven procurement processes to enhance operational agility and vendor compliance.
- Oversee supplier relationship management (SRM) to ensure quality, delivery, and cost KPIs are consistently met.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and foster a culture of excellence within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and complex global supply chains.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- CPM, CPSM, or APICS certification is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
