Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to achieve cost-saving targets.
- Negotiate complex vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal value and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast procurement needs and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal teams to streamline purchasing processes.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from RFP creation to final contract execution.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of excellence and operational precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale vendor portfolios and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with high proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
- CPSM or APICS certification is highly preferred.
