Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for critical commodities (electronics, raw materials, logistics services)
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Fortune 500 suppliers, achieving 15-20% cost reduction targets
- Oversee supplier risk assessment programs including ESG compliance and geopolitical impact analysis
- Manage cross-functional procurement projects with engineering, operations, and finance stakeholders
- Implement AI-driven procurement analytics to optimize spend visibility and forecasting accuracy
- Mentor junior procurement specialists while maintaining ISO 20400 sustainable procurement standards
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including e-procurement platform optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years progressive procurement experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CIPS/ISM certification or equivalent procurement accreditation
- Expertise in SAP Ariba and Coupa procurement systems
- Proven track record in international vendor management across APAC region
- Advanced negotiation skills with documented contract savings >$2M annually
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in spend analysis and market research
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu advantageous
