Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to drive value and mitigate supply chain risk.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and vendor selection processes to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-level suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to forecast financial impacts and procurement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to elevate team performance and process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement operations through digital transformation and ERP optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
