Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend categories.
- Lead high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage vendor performance through rigorous KPIs, quarterly business reviews, and relationship development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business goals.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive market analysis and contingency planning.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or compliance standards.
- Oversee departmental compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic procurement or supply chain leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar spend portfolios and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and spend analysis tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic reporting.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing procurement teams.
