Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and optimization of complex drug formulation and analytical development studies
- Develop and validate analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) for characterization of API and drug products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition from preclinical to clinical development
- Prepare regulatory documentation (CMC sections, IND/IMPD submissions) meeting FDA/EMA standards
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to continuous improvement of lab processes
- Represent company at scientific conferences and maintain awareness of industry trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in solid-state characterization, polymorph screening, and formulation development
- Proven track record in regulatory compliance and GMP documentation
- Strong statistical analysis skills and proficiency with scientific software (JMP, ChemDraw)
- Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Published research in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical science journals
- Experience with biologics formulation or controlled-release technologies preferred
