Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug development studies
- Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations for novel therapeutics
- Conduct stability testing and analytical characterization of drug products
- Manage CRO partnerships and external research collaborations
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND, NDA) and FDA communications
- Mentor junior scientists and drive cross-functional project initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging pharmaceutical technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug development
- Expertise in formulation development and analytical methodologies
- Proven track record of regulatory submissions and compliance
- Strong proficiency with HPLC, LC-MS, and dissolution testing
- Experience managing complex research projects and budgets
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- FDA regulatory knowledge and GMP compliance experience
