Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex pharmaceutical formulations for preclinical and clinical development phases
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating scientific concepts into scalable manufacturing processes
- Conduct advanced analytical characterization using HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy techniques
- Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP regulations and FDA/EMA guidelines
- Develop innovative drug delivery systems to enhance bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy
- Author regulatory documentation and contribute to IND/CTA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and drive continuous improvement in lab methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in small-molecule formulation development and process optimization
- Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical regulatory landscapes (FDA/EMA)
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in HPLC, dissolution testing, and stability studies
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams from concept to commercialization
- Publication record in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals preferred
- Proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis using JMP/R
