Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical drug development studies
- Oversee formulation development and stability testing of novel pharmaceutical compounds
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation (INDs, NDAs) ensuring compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Collaborate with CROs and academic partners on translational research initiatives
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows for efficiency
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in formulation development, analytical HPLC, and dissolution testing
- Deep knowledge of ICH guidelines, GMP, and regulatory pathways
- Strong track record in IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing cross-functional drug development teams
- Published research in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
