Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for novel drug formulations and delivery systems
- Design and execute complex clinical trials in compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines
- Analyze pharmacokinetic data to optimize therapeutic efficacy and safety profiles
- Mentor junior scientists and cross-functional project teams
- Develop regulatory strategies and documentation for IND/NDAs
- Collaborate with CROs on outsourced research activities
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) and formulation development
- Proven track record in managing Phase I-III clinical trials
- Strong understanding of GMP/GLP regulations and quality systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals preferred
- Experience with biologics and small molecule therapeutics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
