Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug development programs from preclinical to phase II trials
- Design and execute complex pharmaceutical formulations and stability studies
- Oversee analytical method validation and quality control for API and finished products
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines (GMP/GLP)
- Mentor junior scientists and drive cross-functional R&D initiatives
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective scalability
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Expertise in solid-state characterization, PK/PD modeling, and formulation development
- Proven track record in regulatory submissions (ANDA/BLA/NDA)
- Strong proficiency with HPLC, LC-MS, and dissolution testing methodologies
- Experience managing CRO partnerships and external collaborations
- Validated leadership skills with budget responsibility of $2M+
- Active membership in AAPS or ISPE preferred
