Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of preclinical drug development studies
- Develop and optimize novel formulations for targeted drug delivery systems
- Manage CRO partnerships and oversee GLP-compliant toxicology studies
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND, IMPD) and interact with FDA
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in formulation development and analytical characterization
- Strong understanding of GMP/GLP regulations and drug development lifecycle
- Experience with preclinical pharmacokinetics and toxicology studies
- Proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and advanced analytical techniques
- Demonstrated track record of IND-enabling research
- Excellent written/verbal communication and leadership skills
