Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex preclinical studies for novel small-molecule therapeutics
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) for compound characterization
- Manage CRO partnerships for in vivo pharmacokinetic and toxicology studies
- Author regulatory documentation (INDs, CTAs) and FDA/EMA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings to executive leadership
- Drive process optimization in GMP manufacturing scale-up
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in ADME/PK modeling and bioanalytical method validation
- Proven track record in IND-enabling studies and regulatory compliance
- Strong publication record (≥3 peer-reviewed papers in journals like JMC or ACS Med. Chem.)
- Experience with FDA/EMA regulatory interactions and inspection readiness
- Proficiency in scientific programming (Python/R) for data analysis
- Certification in GMP/GLP practices (ASQ CQA preferred)
