Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical drug development studies
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of scientific rigor
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned research initiatives
- Identify emerging technologies to enhance R&D capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in small molecule drug development and formulation
- Strong analytical skills with HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy techniques
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP regulations and FDA/EMA submission processes
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research
- Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership abilities
- Experience with IND/CTD dossier preparation preferred
- Validated problem-solving skills for complex scientific challenges
