Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and optimization of complex pharmaceutical formulations and drug delivery systems
- Develop and validate analytical methods for characterization of novel compounds and biologics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates from preclinical to clinical phases
- Prepare regulatory documentation (INDs, NDAs) and ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in formulation development, stability testing, and process optimization
- Strong background in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, dissolution testing)
- Experience with regulatory submissions and GMP compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary projects and manage timelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
