Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies using in vitro/vivo models
- Lead optimization of drug candidates for bioavailability and efficacy
- Develop and validate analytical methods for compound characterization
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND/CTA) and support FDA/EMA interactions
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with CMC and clinical teams for seamless compound progression
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in pharmacokinetics/toxicology and formulation development
- Proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and cell-based assay platforms
- Proven track record of advancing compounds to IND stage
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership abilities
