Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable software solutions for Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms.
- Ensure all software products comply with HIPAA regulations and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and product managers to translate complex healthcare requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of critical medical services.
- Implement automated testing strategies to minimize errors in patient-facing applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on healthcare or medical domains.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional Agile environment.
