Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical research protocols for novel drug candidates
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) studies
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization
- Prepare regulatory documentation (INDs, IMPDs) ensuring compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior scientists and foster collaborative innovation across departments
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in small molecule drug discovery and preclinical development
- Strong analytical skills with HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy methodologies
- Experience with GLP-compliant laboratory operations and regulatory submissions
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary research projects
- Excellent written/verbal communication and documentation abilities
