Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex experimental workflows for drug discovery programs.
- Analyze multi-dimensional data sets to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
- Mentor junior research staff and promote a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics and clinical trial teams to transition compounds from pre-clinical to clinical phases.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and high-quality presentations for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the organization at the competitive edge.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-throughput screening and molecular assay development.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Python, or SAS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of scientific publication and patent contributions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to rigorous ethical standards.
