Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex preclinical research programs targeting novel therapeutic mechanisms
- Oversee multidisciplinary project teams in molecular biology, pharmacology, and translational medicine
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization and biomarker identification
- Author regulatory documentation and contribute to FDA/EMA submissions for clinical trial approval
- Present research findings at international scientific conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and foster collaborative innovation across cross-functional departments
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in drug discovery from target identification to IND-enabling studies
- Expertise in advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, SPR)
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals with demonstrated research leadership
- Familiarity with GGLP/GLP regulations and clinical trial design principles
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced R&D environments
