Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target identification to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex experimental workflows to evaluate pharmacological efficacy.
- Analyze high-throughput screening data using advanced statistical modeling software.
- Mentor junior research staff and promote a culture of rigorous scientific excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical and regulatory affairs, to ensure project alignment.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for IND filings and internal stakeholders.
- Stay at the forefront of medicinal chemistry and molecular biology trends.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug development.
- Proven track record of publications or patents in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Expertise in molecular modeling and automated high-throughput assay systems.
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for pharmaceutical data analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of FDA guidelines and GLP/GMP compliance requirements.
