You will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of complex pharmaceutical experiments, driving innovative drug discovery initiatives from bench to pilot scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of drug discovery assays in a BSL-2 laboratory setting.
- Analyze complex biological datasets to guide lead optimization and candidate selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology, toxicology, and regulatory affairs.
- Author technical reports, patent disclosures, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Oversee lab instrumentation maintenance and compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
- Mentor junior laboratory associates and facilitate team technical training.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in pharmaceutical R&D.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-throughput screening and molecular assay development.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, or R.
- Deep understanding of FDA/EMA drug development pathways and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
