Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target validation to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate pharmacological efficacy.
- Analyze large-scale biological datasets to identify novel therapeutic targets.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and innovation.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to executive leadership.
- Ensure all laboratory operations adhere strictly to GLP and safety compliance standards.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support the transition of candidates to Phase I trials.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
- Proven track record of high-impact publications or patent filings.
- Expertise in cellular assays, CRISPR/Cas9, and high-throughput screening technologies.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the FDA regulatory framework for drug development.
