Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical drug development studies including in vitro assays and animal models
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating molecular targets into therapeutic candidates
- Optimize formulation and delivery systems for enhanced bioavailability
- Analyze complex pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) data using statistical modeling
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND, IMPD) for FDA/EMA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at international conferences
- Ensure compliance with GGLP and FDA regulatory standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in oncology/immunology drug discovery and preclinical development
- Proven track record in IND-enabling studies and regulatory documentation
- Advanced proficiency in PK/PD modeling software (Phoenix WinNonlin, NONMEM)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature, Science, JCI)
- Experience managing CRO partnerships and vendor relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US work authorization required
