Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex drug discovery experiments across multiple therapeutic areas
- Lead preclinical development programs from target identification to IND-enabling studies
- Analyze and interpret biological data using advanced statistical and computational methods
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs and quality assurance to ensure compliance with FDA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to scientific publications and conference presentations
- Optimize experimental protocols to enhance efficiency and reproducibility
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in in vitro and in vivo pharmacology models
- Strong background in GLP/GMP compliance and regulatory documentation
- Proficiency with high-throughput screening platforms and automated lab systems
- Demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
