Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex drug discovery experiments in molecular biology and biochemistry
- Develop and optimize novel assays for target validation and compound screening
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, biologists, and clinical researchers
- Author high-impact publications and patents to advance therapeutic pipelines
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and GMP standards
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to strategic R&D planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life science field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in oncology/immunology drug discovery and target identification
- Advanced proficiency in molecular biology techniques (CRISPR, qPCR, Western blot)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in statistical modeling and bioinformatics
- Demonstrated success in translating research into preclinical development candidates
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to scientific and leadership audiences
