Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical drug discovery experiments
- Develop and optimize novel therapeutic candidates targeting oncology and autoimmune disorders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, clinical) to advance projects through IND-enabling studies
- Prepare regulatory documentation and present findings to internal stakeholders and FDA
- Mentor junior scientists and drive laboratory innovation through emerging technologies
- Stay current with scientific literature and industry trends to identify research opportunities
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in in vivo pharmacology and disease modeling
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with GLP-compliant studies and regulatory submissions
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and high-throughput screening
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
