Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end preclinical drug development projects from target identification to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex experimental workflows to evaluate compound efficacy and safety profiles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology, toxicology, and regulatory affairs.
- Author comprehensive scientific reports, IND documents, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Mentor junior scientists and oversee lab equipment calibration and data integrity protocols.
- Present strategic research updates to executive stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery.
- Expertise in high-throughput screening, cell-based assays, and molecular profiling.
- Proven track record of managing technical projects and meeting rigorous development milestones.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS) for clinical data analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental alignment.
