Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of preclinical drug discovery studies
- Develop and optimize novel pharmaceutical formulations and delivery systems
- Collaborate with CROs and academic partners on clinical trial protocols
- Prepare regulatory submissions (IND, NDA) and ensure compliance with GMP standards
- Mentor junior scientists and present research findings at industry conferences
- Stay current with emerging pharmaceutical technologies and regulatory trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in drug discovery and preclinical development
- Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) and cell-based assays
- Familiarity with FDA/EMA regulatory pathways and GMP compliance
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience managing complex research projects and budgets
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
