Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from target identification to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex experimental protocols to validate novel therapeutic targets.
- Analyze high-throughput screening data to identify promising molecular candidates.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Maintain compliance with all GLP and FDA regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical research or biotech R&D.
- Proven track record of moving compounds from discovery into clinical trials.
- Expertise in molecular modeling, cell-based assays, and biochemical characterization.
- Strong proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R).
- Demonstrated ability to manage collaborative research projects under tight deadlines.
