Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex experimental workflows for novel therapeutic candidates.
- Analyze multi-omic datasets to identify and validate potential drug targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology and regulatory affairs, to advance clinical pipelines.
- Author high-impact technical reports, internal strategy documents, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and laboratory safety.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of advanced lab instrumentation.
- Present research findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience in an academic or industrial drug discovery setting.
- Proven track record of moving compounds from lead optimization to pre-clinical trials.
- Expertise in high-throughput screening technologies and CRISPR gene-editing methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical programming (R or Python) for biological data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate a matrixed global organization.
- Knowledge of FDA and EMA regulatory compliance standards.
