Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex in vitro/vivo experiments to evaluate drug candidates' efficacy and safety profiles
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across pharmacology, chemistry, and regulatory affairs
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for biomarker discovery and pharmacokinetic analysis
- Author regulatory documentation (IND/CTA) and ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Present research findings to stakeholders and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and drive continuous improvement of lab protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in target validation and mechanism of action studies
- Strong background in GLP-compliant preclinical trial design and execution
- Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NGS)
- Demonstrated success in IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions
- Published author in high-impact pharmaceutical research journals
- Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 and gene therapy platforms preferred
